Love it am just getting ready to do my kitchen its an island and I think this will be a good fit. I am going to do different counter tops but it should be beautiful.

Thank you 11425477. It's a painted cabinet and maintenance hasn't really been a problem at all. (The underlying wood is maple. We've gotten a few small nicks but they're not really noticeable. I've got some touch-up paint and a wax pen that I can use to cover up the nicks but I actually haven't bothered yet. Overall I think the appearance is *much* nicer than either foil or laminate. t's also worth noting that these were ordered from an out-of-state cabinet manufacturer. In the state of California there are workplace hazardous materials regulations that make it difficult for most cabinet makers to create the most durable finishes.

Love this and am thinking about doing white cabinets as well. Did you use a painted foil or laminate cabinet and are you happy with the maintenence?
