I just purchased a sample amount of SW-Softer Tan. I have to say I am very disappointed how dark it really is.
Tho your kitchen is stunning, the colors are not captured well. The photos make the cabinets look so much lighter.
Just so others are aware that they really need to test the waters before jumping in!!

I LOVE this space! I work at SW and I can't believe how different Softer Tan looks in these photos. I want to re-do my kitchen and have been looking for an off-white paint colour but perhaps I will consider this tan colour. This is great inspiration!

I have been "toying" with the idea of painting my cabinets even though the stain is quite nice. After seeing your before and after pictures, I know have the confidence to go ahead and have them painted. I love the look you achieved with the painted cabinets. Thanks!!!

Please respond! My house has light oak trim throughout. I am remodeling the kitchen and have always dreamed of white/or creamish cabinets much like yours. Honestly, in your opinion, and I do respect your decorating talents, would you buy painted cabinets, even though the trim is all oak?? I really need an opinion!! thanks
