When we moved into our 1960s home, our first project was a kitchen update. We wanted a more open and modern look, but we had a somewhat limited budget. My husband had updated our old home's kitchen with IKEA cabinets, and it had turned out very nicely. We went with the black-brown color and stainless appliances.
