It's free and easy.
Our circa 1790 horse farm needed a new kitchen. Sagging ceiling, outdated counters, warped cabinetry, and missing hardware were just some of the unique elements in the 70's era galley kitchen.
We refinished the floors with a dark stain. Then we lightened up the place with creamy white perimeter cabinetry and lots of recessed lighting and task lighting.
The walnut island is topped with an induction cook top and white marble.
I saw these stools online and they reminded me of seating you would find in a midtown Manhattan bachelor pad. Because my husband used to work on Wall Street, I thought I would bring his personality to the kitchen by adding the chrome and leather stools. Crystal and chrome pendant lights add the 'bling' for me.
Finished off with lots of chrome and stainless steel to add just a little more sparkle to the classic lines of the kitchen.
