I love the rustoleum cabinet transformations kit. I used the white for my kitchen, but it does take FOREVER. I was tripping over cabinet doors for almost two weeks.

Great transformation! Love the rich brown look, backsplash and tile. Near the sink, I think it would look better without the cabinet on the left. Also, some nice "jewelry" in the form of knobs/handles would finish it off nicely.

Thank you for the compliments! We actually used the color Tudor, which came out kind of purply. If I were to do it over I would have chosen Kona, as I like the espresso look. The paint person at Lowe's had used the tudor color and assured us it was an espresso color but it wound up not being exactly like she described.

Thanks! The cabinets took forever, I'm not going to lie. It was one of those things that while in the middle of it we were wondering what in the world were we thinking?! It wasn't diffuclt, just very time consuming. But in the end it was worth it to us because we saved 20k+ on new cabinets.

Could you please tell me about your experience with the rustoleum kit? I have been wanting to paint my bleached oak cabinets for years! I love the chocolate brown, but not sure it would work in my kitchen, because our countertops are pretty dark. I know that rustoleum has other colors though.
