About This Space

We wanted something crisp, fresh and bright to greet us in the morning, so we used lemons as our jumping off point. White cabinets with updated hardware and glass tile keep it modern while the butcher block counters keep it earthy. Our pendant lights are inspired by vintage, coastal industrial lights and the striped curtain reminds us of a cabana.

I was not previously a big fan of this look and yellow is my least favorite color, but this kitchen is too wonderful to be denied. My middle child just redid her kitchen in nearly identical fashion (in greens and blues and it is drop dead gorgeous. I am now a convert to coastal style and have begun to make friends with yellow. unbelievably great job!

This is delightful. It's great to see a kitchen that is inviting to work in as well as look at. So many kitchens nowadays are just showplaces for those with "big bucks" who don't even enjoy cooking.
I have a 2' by 4' Boos butcher block island that I absolutely love so am happy to see that you used wood counter tops. The white cabinets are timeless. This kitchen will still be appealing in twenty years.
