This is my kitchen, it is the original kitchen built into the house in 1949. The cabinets are hand built from pine and none of the line match up, they are uneven and all of the doors are warped! I eventually plan to gut it and put in a brand new kitchen but wanted to spruce it up until the time and funds arrive for a total redo! I painted the lower cabinets with three layers of magnetic primer so our grandson can play with refrigerator magnets and not be in the kitchen underfoot, i then went over that with 5 coats of chalkboard paint to add to the fun!! I then did the upper cabinets in the brightest red i could find to add a WOW pop of color! the house is on the north side of a hill so in the winter time we get very little direct sun light so color is everywhere in our home!
