Lovely kitchen re-do. I was thinking about doing travertine subway tile, but most people advise me to leave it as it is. I have light cabinets with dark Silestone countertops. Anyway, this look wonderful.

This is the look we want in our kitchen. We have the white cabinet and stainless steel app. I just need to redo out back splash and add the granite. Seeing yours makes me want to start working on it tomorrow. Love it all.
