I have always had a strong desire to create and restore since I was a little girl. My husband and I have been restoring a historic bed and breakfast for the last 3 years and we are almost ready to open. One of the last rooms (and most important) that we restored is our 1927 kitchen. As a graphic designer, I designed my kitchen on computer first and it turned out exactly as planned! Details are everything! We wanted to keep it authentic and hide as much modern as possible, but still make it functional for today's day and age. Everything has hydraulic pullouts, including the decorative hood around the oven. We also used subway tile, pressed tin ceiling, basketweave marble, and a lot of glass. This has been a labor of love...hope you enjoy the pictures! :)
