I recently moved in with my boyfriend, into his almost 100 year old home that has been in his family for that long. Our kitchen has carpet floors, plastic cabinets in our makeshift island, original cabinets from when the house was built, a gas stove that only has 3 working burning out of 4 and a non functioning oven, a dated microwave,a table with broken non-matching chairs, and to top it off, washer and dryer next to the fridge that only works on the coldest temp.

You must really love this guy to move in to his place. It's lacked tlc and needs repairs asap. Bless your heart for staying!

There is no point in doing any cosmetic changes here. If your boyfriend is financially able, he should take out a loan and overhaul the whole thing. Spend the most money on updating wiring, plumbing, structural things. Then install inexpensive but good cabinets and flooring, such as Ikea or secondhand oak that can be painted. If you can't afford to fix it, or are unable to do the work, sell the house as is and move.

Frankly, this place looks like a safety hazard, where no one should be living. The floors could cave in, the ceiling collapse, the wiring catch on fire, a gas line explode, and the plumbing fail. A building inspector would probably declare it unlivable until repairs are made. Since it appears you're looking here for a free makeover, you should be aware that it's unlikely to happen. Truly, I believe you should move out.
