  • Painted Kitchen Cabinets, Here are a few photos of my "design on a dime" kitchen makeover. It's a work in progress. I hated my builder-grade, orange oak cabinets from the 1990s, so I painted over them, and added some Ikea handles. I plan to change the backsplash to something more modern soon, and tweak things here and there. It would be nice to have some under-cabinet lighting. This entire "reno" cost a few hundred dollars. It's definitely worth it if you want to give your oak kitchen an easy update., Kitchens Design

  • One big honking area to cordinate, We have taken out a few walls in out 1947 bungalow to create an open concept and make use of the fantastic natural light we get.   • $2500 for renos on this 1970s kitchen, This kitchen was so 1970s it had old white cupboards with wood trim cracked countertops and a wall inbetween the kitchen and livingroom which made the small kitchen seem even smaller. We tore down the wall added a couple of new lightfixtures put on new cabinet doors countertops and a sink and flooring and voila! Renos on a tight budget., Kitchens Design

  • Exterior Repost-After Construction and Landscaping-What a difference!, The outside of the house went through a major makeover last year with the landscaping and this year with the construction.   • Tiny Kitchen , The tile on the wall is yellow with maroon trim.The wall color was the best match. The floor tiles are old.This kitchen is very small and the cabinets are very old. It is hard for two people to work together because we keep bumping into each other.The way that it is set up the kitchen is very disconnected from the living room and most of the dining room.The door on the refrigerator when opened blocks the doorway into the kitchen.   • 90s to Modern, , I had to find a way to change the look of oak orangy cabinets without painting the wood or repacing the doors. I painted a dark grey on the wall tiled the backsplash with charcoal grout put in black galaxy granite to replace the beige fromica and changed the hardware. new dual fuel convection doulbe oven too.I love it now and it works!! , Kitchens Design

  • Asian inspired Great Room, Here I worked with an American family of four living overseas in Singapore for nearly 5 years now.
