  • Transitional Kitchen for Entertaining, The kitchen has a mixture of reface and new construction cabinets. Our first pick in the kitchen were the floors. From there we picked this brushed finished granite that is truly spectacular. The cabinet color was the next choice, grabbing some of the carmel colors in the granite along with the carmel color in the wood floor, tying it in with the dark inset. We constructed the two stage bar with a garbage disposal so it acts like a second prep sink, Ice maker, beverage and wine fridge. We added all stainless appliances including a hidden coffee station and added on to the island with a wine rack. , Kitchens Design

  • Heart of the House Kitchen, I'm a real estate broker and believe that the kitchen makes or breaks each and every house ~ it's truly the heart of the home, the most important room. That being said, all my exposure to people's various styles in person and thru HGTV made it virtually impossible for me to pull all of the ideas and materials that I admired most into one perfect kitchen. So...it took us almost 10 years of living in our house to finally make our dream kitchen a reality. It's a good size, 18' wide by 28' long, so we used up as much space as possible to avoid "dead spots" and made sure the layout was really right in terms of workspace convenience and ease. We are 100% pleased with how our ideas came to life., Kitchens Design

  • New Mexican Hacienda Renovation, We were finally able to replace our out-dated, cramped and ugly kitchen just recently. Without adding any sf, we got almost three times the storage, in a kitchen that can now easily accommodate 4 or 5 cooks at the same time together . . . happily! Our goal was to create a beautiful, practical space that would showcase ~ not compete~ with our gorgeous mountain views. , Kitchens Design

  • Crisp & clean with a touch of green, We recently remodeled the original kitchen in our 1980's ranch house. Luckily, it had "good bones"--large kitchen/family room area, so no expansion was necessary and no walls needed to be removed. The old kitchen was not very functional, primarly because the large cooktop on the island left only 12 inches of countertop around it, so I was limited to using one small counter area for prepping, baking, etc. After cooking in it for almost three years and taking mental notes on how to make it better, we embarked on the big remodel. Now it is a beautiful, clean space that several people can work in comfortably, and it is great for entertaining thanks to flip flopping a desk and bar area. As part of the remodel, we replaced a bookcase that was in the adjacent family room and redid the fireplace as well, using elements from the kitchen to pull it all together. Enduring a remodel with two young kids was not easy, but now this is a beautiful space my whole family enjoys spending time in, so that makes it all worth it!, Kitchens Design

  • *New Modern Kitchen Renovation with Orange & Brown. After and Before, We bought this 1975 home and loved it and set out to make the kitchen all our own. We were limited with the shape because of the walls. Many of the walls were structural and could not be changed. The original kitchen had a J-Shaped island in the middle which I felt hindered the movement of the space. Our designer opened it up and expanded it. My husband designed the drop orange breakfast table/bar. It is made out of a single piece of orange quartz. We also removed soffits and rerouted A/C ducts to make higher 42" cabinetry. Please see before photos. , Kitchens Design
