Very small living room in my apartment. Just about everything is handy downs. My love seats are not the typical size they are very small, so no slip covers fit. I live in an apartment so I can not paint. I love our large square coffee table we can sit on large pillows & eat at it.

My son built this small Library for me... I have always had a huge collection of GREAT books hidden under beds and in spare closets... Our Moroccan Master Suite is CHOCK FULL (sorry of necessary furniture... It seems there is JUST enough rrom to move around... But we are COZY and CONTENT.

My problem is the half bath, living room, dining room and kitchen are one big room. I have tried to make all 4 rooms into one if anyone has any design suggestions I am open to hearing them.

Today i changed a few things in my kitchen. I added the word "revised" to the things i changed. I hope everyone takes a look cause i do value the imput. We repainted the inside of our home last week. This is still a work in progress. I am looking to find a few accent things with red tones to add some color and accesorize. Yellow was my least favorite color but i love it now. I wanted a cheery kitchen.

Master bedroom with tons of budget friendly ideas. Because the mixture of old and new and the unique peices found in antique shops and auctions over the years it is timeless. The room was built 12 years ago on the 1865 farmhouse. Changing decorative pillows and buying a new lamp or two the room can be freshened up easily. I change the bedding with the blankets and sheets beings mix and matchable every time I change the sheets. I have collected some of these things over 30 years. In another house they can be used in different ways.The sheets are stored under the bed in baskets. I had the bed custom made a bit higher to allow for the storage baskets under it. We all have our favorite things.. I hope you like mine.!

1970's basic oak kitchen 15'x15' box.. Original kitchen was a box. Removed two inside walls to open onto living area. Removing the walls opened the kitchen to the main room. Then we also removed the false kitchen ceiling (8' high. The kitchen ceiling being removed opened up the kitchen and blended the kitchen ceiling with the main room's vaulted ceilings.
