This space had the bar and the homeowner wanted to add a desk area at the end of the family room with enough seating for 3. The build in is custom and the floating shelving has task lighting.

Is this meant to be a home school space? More storage and a bigger worktable as well as the compact desk might be helpful. And a reading chair.

Floating shelves are for photo op only not really a value add to an office space.

WOW! This is very, very well designed, in my opinion. I like the way you combined the white base board (if thats what you call it... i forgot with the what looks like cherry wood desk and bookcase. I didn't think that combination would look very well together, but i was WRONG! This is beautiful. I love the natural stone countertop, too.
