more hideous circa 1947 stuff going on here with rotting rail-road tie retaining walls and nothing but overgrown stuff and weeds. we re-did the retaining walls, stained them bvrown (although that is not done in these pictures, re-desgined the stairs to the back of the house and planted 80 baby boxwood shrubs to grow into a hedge. also back-filled the area with about 5,000 chutes of pachysandra, yes, which I planted each one myself, by hand over the course of about 9 months.
