I almost didn't buy this house. It stood out like a sore thumb among the other homes in the neighborhood. However, I am glad now I decided upon it. I got a great deal on it, put very minimal money into refurbing it, and now 6 months later, its appraising almost $50,000 above what I paid. Never underestimate the hidden potential!
Update 6/6/12: hello and thanks for all the nice comments and compliments! I sold the house in February of 2011, and began construction on a new home. The new house was finished in September of 2011, and i will post pictures soon.
