About This Space

I am a second grade elementary school teacher and published author who wanted a downtown loft space like a number of my friends. When I couldn't afford a downtown building, I figure that a barn renovation in the suburbs could give me the kind of open space I was looking for at a fraction of the price. I also figured that using solar energy could allow me to go green and free me from high utility bills. I fell in love with a barn from right out of the novel Charlotte's Web and was bent on saving it. Of course, I'm doing all the work with a lot of help from my friends to make a one-off barn to call home.
