I have used vintage jewelry to decorate a tiny tree on my bedroom mantle. Small jewelry boxes are placed like presents at the base of the tree.

What a terrific Idea. I have my mothers clip earrings a jewlery box full, some older than me,(thats old what a cute Idea. I think maybe I will pullthem and a small tree out of storage and let tmy gradaughters help me decorate 'great grandmas tree. thank you so much for sharing.
