This is the living room of my condo, located in a 120 year old former hotel. When I purchased it, it was a beige box with little character, other than high ceilings. I removed the tan carpet, added Brazilian Cherry flooring, painted the walls medium grey, with two accent walls done in a cool black on black geometric pattern and added lots of pattern to give the room interest. This room is used primarily for entertaining and watching TV and movies. I'm normally not a huge fan of sectionals, but went with one, because it made the room feel bigger and worked well to watch TV and movies, as the TV is opposite the sofa part of the sectional and there is a movie screen that drops from the ceiling, for projected movies, that's opposite the sectional. Because my home is very contemporary, I wanted a tree to reflect that, so I went with a small antiqued silver tree this year, decorated in shades of graphite, red, silver, black and white. I even painted the black and white ornaments myself. I took inspiration from the pillows on the sofa. Hope you enjoy!!
It's beginning to look
alot like Christ...
