  • Contemporary or Traditional? I got my way! (for once) , We had a 8 year old builder's grade master bath that my wife simply hated. We decided to redesign the bath to our tastes and we think it looks great! I've got to admit, the room design suits my contemporary tastes much more than my wife's traditional preferences. Believe it or not, the heated marble floors are my favorite thing about the entire bath., Bathrooms Design

Now it’s opened up to create a large space connecting the dining room and family room.We added heated floors when we put the tiles in because we’re on a slab foundation - it's been great so far (especially during the winter)., Kitchens Design

  • My Master Bath Almost There!!!!, This is my Master Bath...it's not finished but this is what it looks like so far. The floors are Marble and my partner created the Italian travertine tile design herself with a Stained Glassed Centered above the tub. It seems as though it took forever to finish but its 80% grouted and we are almost done. There is also a travertine tiled skylight directly over the tub that allows natural light to come in and hits the stained glass. Its also nice to take a soak bath at night and look up and see the stars at night.I love this bath!, Bathrooms Design

I decoupaged over a cultured marble sink and counter top with an Italian Marble-style paper I colored, then applied and sealed. New sink hardware, and voila! Great updated bathroom inexpensively., Bathrooms Design

  • DECOUPAGE sink and counter top!, Hasn't everyone had one of those one-piece counter top and sink combo? Ugh. I have two. I just decoupaged the entire surface, then decorated with travel memorabilia to fit the theme of the space. Of course, I sealed it to stay dry, then replaced the hardware. Please comment and rate!
