  • Cozy old world cottage kitchen, We made this! One weekend at a time :) This peeks into the dining room which is posted in another space. It still needs baseboard and I don't know whether to put up ceiling crown moulding or if I should paint or stain the trim. Suggestions?   • A work In Progress, Romantic Goth, I found a photo on Yahoo of a gothic bedroom I liked. I did not want to do nightmare before christmas or skulls and dripping candles. I just wanted something semi simple that was not overwelming. I have to ad a few more things like my chandelier and canopy then the room will be finished. This is just mid way , Bedrooms Design

  • Our new Livingroom mostly finished , Traditional formal living room. Son plays classical piano and we decorated with the Grand piano in mind! Floor is wide plank Brazilian Cherry. Crystal chandelier we built ourselves (while wearing white gloves of course!) it is from Czechoslovakia. Sconces are by Hinkley antique brass/silk shades. drapes are f aux silk in a bronze gold tone. We build the fireplace mantel it is finished in black galaxy granite. The piano is a Schimmel Grand Diamond edition from Germany. , Living Rooms Design

  • Gothic with an Indian/Asian twist, My first place! I'm so excited! I hand painted the walls a taupe color to look like suede. I love to use black iron wood stone with pops of red. I felt drawn to the unusual stone green color on the wall that hides my stairs & just went for it. I actually like it! Whats best is this room gives me lots of places to display my art & its open so you never feel cut off from guests when entertaining. Hope you like it!, Living Rooms Design
