  • ultimate sanctuary, Our house was built in 1940 only 900 square feet,we had a small bathroom. I asked my husband for a second bathroom. My wonderful and tallented husband added 1,800 square feet.
This is the bathroom that he created. A glass tile company used it for their add in dwell magazine.
I love the house, espeically the bathroom, It has recycled glass tile, travertine floors with glass square insets, jacuzzi tub for 2, glass and stone shower., Bathrooms Design

  • Slim Elks Lodge in my house!!, Ok, so I have a narrow basement with real wood paneling. Hence my husband, who grew up in the Adirondacks. He won't let me paint it...It is real wood you know...yuck. There is a brick fireplace...yes that is right, real red brick.. except where it has smoke damage, that part is BLACK...Can't paint that either, it is real brick you know...ugh. This room is a bar, TV room, and play room all wrapped into one. I am sure that you won't see anything like it!! If you have any hints let me know thanks, Basements Design

  • Contemporary Kitchen, Having a small family and a lot of unused and unusable space was the main problem of this mid 90's style home. Pushing the kitchen back into what was the formal dining room opened up the new living and dining room and also made a much more efficient kitchen. Splitface marble tile was used on the entry way wall and accented with dual sided silo wall sconces to create a art feature and a very dramatic feel as you entered the home. The tile was trimmed out in quartz (the same material that is on the countertop) to give it another level of interest and touch., Kitchens Design

  • modern moroccan makeover, This is the transformation of a 1953 Seattle rambler. The original living room was in an advanced state of drab - not to mention crumbling ceilings and dodgy floors! The new room is party-ready and a great place to chill, read, and watch movies on the recessed/hidden flatscreen. Almost everything, from the sustainably harvested hemlock ceilings to the recycled glass tile, to the vintage furniture and Morrocan rugs were earth and pocket book friendly! Lots of DIY and bargain hunting, mixed with a love for the unique and authentic helped us customize this space., Living Rooms Design
