New Room. Blank slate with a plan to put in a high loft bed in the alcove beneath the skylight. Lots of shelves, tons of storage. She's eleven and I don't think she has ever thrown something away without alot of encouragement.

great space....remember, girls mature F-A-S-T so anything 'age appropriate' will be out grown in 2 years. Suggestion....keep the bead-board, and if paint is an option, go with gloss white and the trim wood, a deeper tone of the proposed paint for the drywall. Check out Cape Cod color tones and concepts. This type of atmosphere tends to stay alive longer with the young gals soon to be ladies......
