When we finished our basement...our daughter wanted to claim some space of her own as a play/hang out space for her friends to listen to music, watch movies and play video games. So off to IKEA we went.

If I only had one word to describe this space it would be: Amazing!! I love everything about this room! I would love to have this kind of square footage in my own home. Hopefully someday I will. Five stars from me: Excellent job!!

I love this your style. I am quite design challenged and using your ideas would like to re-create something similar in our sitting room. I had a few questions for you.

1. I've seen the Flor carpet tiles. What exact style did you use?

2. What color did you use on the walls?

3. You mentioned the furniture is from Ikea. Which slipcover did you get on the sofa? It's looks like it's kind of a "fur" texture and I didn't see anything like that at our Ikea.

I'm sure you will be an inspiration room to many! Awesome space. I love how the doors are brown against the white trim, is this thru your whole house? And I never thought to make them their own space in the basement, great idea. The whole thing is just beautiful, 5 stars!
