  • Early Spring 2012, April is such a magical month, it is a time of huge changes in the garden. Winter completely leaves its grip (at least here in London) and moments of despair and apprehension are replaced by feelings of hope. Just in a few weeks everything greens up. You are drawn into the garden by all the fresh, soft and bright growth, to me its like meeting old friends who have been away for the winter and you know that if they have survived the winters they will be putting on a much better show this year. I just love gardening!

  • Garden, We have recently purchased this home two years ago for our retirement in NB Canada. It is in the Woods and I have been setting up the gardens. This is where I am at thus far. Any ideas please pass them on. We have a duck pond which I need to landscape a garden around it yet, so your ideas will be gratefully accepted, Gardens Design

  • Woodland Walk Garden, Winding pea gravel paths through a wooded area filled with flowers bird houses a bird bath and a "tree house". I spent many hours cleaning out the woods building low rock walls preparing planting areas for shade loving perennials and adding bird houses and a bird bath for my feathered friends. • My Garden Pond, I made two garden ponds with a bridge and three waterfalls and a stream between the two ponds. I have over 20 koi and lots of frogs. I also built a deck with a pergola. At night the ponds light up with torches and low voltage lights under the waterfalls and around the ponds and my wife and I sit in our swing and listen to the waterfalls and frogs croaking. I live in Ohio so we can only enjoy it for 8 months out of the year. In the winter the koi stay at the bottom of the pond. , Gardens Design
