  • Rain Barrel Finale, We decided to join two rain barrels together on one side of the patio where the rain runs off the roof. That left the other corner free for the recently relocated rain barrel from the front garden. Here's the final result (yes, this is it!), Gardens Design

  • My First Garden, When we bought our house the back yard was dirt. We had to dig out about 6 inches of the dirt and replace it with fresh soil. I have no previous gardening history so I planted my vegetable garden in a really tight space. Next year I'm going to move things around so they have more space to grow. We ran out of money for this project so next year we'll fill in some rocks/stones in front of the pond so it doesn't look like it's floating., Gardens Design

  • Atrium Space, This strange 70's "atrium" came built into my townhome with sauna type wood walls two sky lights and a wood planked floor with DIRT underneath! So far I removed the planks & dirt and replaced it with slate looking tile on the floor. Not sure what I can do to the wood walls yet-- any suggestions??, Gardens Design

  • Creativity needed! My backyard is your canvas! , Our back yard slopes towards the fence. Rain water runs though the back of the property but it does dry out so we can swing on the rope. We are near woods and mosquitos prevent us from spending time outside. Eventually we will add a screen porch but what to do with the remaining yard? The area get's morning and afternoon sun then late day shade. What are your gardening instincts telling you? Please share! , Gardens Design
