  • Around the yard 9/12...updated! June 2013, Recently built house on a hill. Landscaping features quartz retaining walls, railroad tie steps, flagstone paths, and fences built from reclaimed pallet boards. Because Fescue kept dying, small lawn will be created with ground cover called Mazus...should fill in within a year., Gardens Design

  • Eclectic Garden in Venice, California, This garden was done for an older woman who had just completed her dream home.  Her one request was for an Olive Tree, her children requested that the garden be drought tolerant.   • Tuscan Gardens in Arkansas, We bought this property for the beautiful views, then we created more Tuscan-esque outdoor spaces. The driveway is made of large stones 'mortared' with grass. The front entrance is a colorful garden. A dam was built over a spring fed ravine to create the 1 acre koi pond. We started with 5 koi, 4 years ago, and now there are literally hundreds!, Gardens Design
