As the saying goes..."when you have lemons, make lemonade!" Well, that is exactly what I had to do. We had a terrible water issue with being the lowest lot in our block. Whenever we had hard rains, we ended up with all the water in our block draining to our property. Didn't make a difference if it was during the summer or the winter months, we always had water drainage that made our yard next to the driveway a swamp. Early Spring we would be unable to cut that part of the yard for weeks on end. I got the idea to have a "dry creek bed" put in and has that ever taken care of our water issue. Not only did it take care of the water problem, but also enhanced the look of our yard.
