  • LSU finds its home in Anchorage, AK, I am a graduate of LSU in Baton Rouge LA. My husband is a BIG LSU fan which helps. So after painting the rest of our house he decided that we needed to finish the garage and what better way then to bring a little LSU to Alaska. So we got the paint from Home Depot in actual LSU colors and he sanded primed and rolled the walls and then I drew and painted all the graphics on top. To all LSU Fans...GEAUX TIGERS!, Garages Design

  • My corner of the garage, I needed a small space to store my riding gear so I cleaned out a corner of the garage to create a tack room/entry. The furnishings were collected from my attic and basement and the only cost was 34.00 for the wall mural. The rug has a few small rips but is still in good shape and is comfortable. The wood was left over cedar siding that we cut to frame the mural and make a shelf for boots. , Garages Design

  • Our 3 car garage, This is a complete makeover of our 3 car garage in our house which was built in 1937. I completely gutted the garage to the studs. put all new electric, insulation, sheetrock, heat, plumbing, etc... and made it into a space where we can hang out with friends, or where i can work on restoring cars and repairing cars, which is my main hobby. My wife designed the garage and i did all the work myself., Garages Design

  • Garage goes gameroom, What do ya do when you need to REALLY clean out the garage? Well around here we turn our garage into a 50's retro gameroom. Needless to say all birthday parties take place in the gameroom now. We also love just hanging out as a family on a weeknight ... like a mini-vacation., Garages Design

  • My Green Shop, My understanding of Green is: Reduce, Reuse, Recycle. The Shop that I started with was open walls with an exterior siding only and wafer board ceiling. So I was able to use the Green concepts to complete my shop. I'll explain my thoughts in the following pictures.
The shop is 12 feet by 27 feet with 8 foot ceilings. I've spent $992 on the work, including some work outside and in the other half of the garage which is not shown.
