This is our two car detached garage. It was so full of "stuff" you could not see the back wall from the open double garage door! While my husband was away on business, I did a clean sweep. Two dumpsters, several bruises and some long soaks in a very hot tub later...the garage is clean, organized and even has a garage office for my husband!

After 17 years in our home and a slow room by room renovation project over these years I finally faced the horror that was our "laundry" area in the garage. With the washing machine dead it was time to face the music and cough up the dough for shiny new energy efficient machines. But I was committed to create a new space with air conditioning, proper lighting, dog washing utility sink, folding surface, on and on.....and clean dust free storage for pantry items.
It took a few months but it came together as a bright, neat work space that is my pride and joy.

Garage Remodel for $1700 and this is how we did it. Coleman Cabinets $900( 10% off Memorial Day Sale, Garage Doors $600 ( 20% off, 10% Memorial day ,10% off all garage door sale Epoxy Floor Paint for 500 sf $100 ( $20 dollars off, open box sale Peg board +frame $20, MDF wood work bench + black paint $45(cut to fit over cabinets Paint for old shelve and peg board $20, (Same color White Concrete Wall Paint, 7 gals, $70( 10% off Military Dis. All day, everyday at Lowe's. New Electric box + wires, outlets +cover, Peg board hanger etc... about $100. WE DID ALL THE LABOR OUR SELF (FREE saving a lot, and there you have it, a $1700 Garage makeover. It took a couple of months and still need ext. paint and a little more work but the most part done. Made about $400 on garage sale too. Could you please tell me if you like it, don't like or what I could have done better, all comment are good comment. Thanks, any ? just ask.
