We are the last house in a progressive dinner for 65 people to eat dessert; I would love some ideas on a centerpiece that isn't too christmassy using more natural materials like pinecones parmagranates greenery. Ten desserts must fit will not use tablecloth.

The bathroom in our rented house was nice but lacking of character. I am trying to give it a relaxing and sweet feel with my scandinavian and french inspired taste. I`d like to put wood panelling and to paint the walls but because it`s not ours this was the maximum I could do.

I love my kitchen. I just installed the pot rack which is much more decorative than useful. I was going to hang pendant lights but I loved the potrack so much it changed my mind. I'm happy with this room. There are a few things I want to change but they are minor. The rooster on the table has to go but I don't have anything else to put on the table yet. I can't find something I like. Any suggestions? I also want different coffee cups on the potrack. I just haven't found what I want. I hope you like my kitchen too.

This room was so boring before. The walls were stark white and had blue curtains hanging. Nothing didn't really scream out style and yes I think that the laundry room should look as good as the rest of you home. Nice and inviting, plus since most people use our backdoor I didn't want them to make a first impression with the way it was before. Now I'm proud to open my home up and let them walk through my laundy room. It's made it a nice space to do the awful chore as well...seems to make is nicer to work on the dreaded laundry. So what do you think?

In my circa 1923 home the kitchen had been remodeled before I bought it.( I posted before photos at the end The cabinets and design felt to modern for the house and was not the feeling I was going for in the house. I want people to come in and feel like they are somewhere else than just a decorated house. So, rather than tear the cabinets out and start over I decided to use them and paint distress and make them just fun! 233 hours later.... I smile when I walk into my pink kitchen. I don't think you expect to see a serious stove in such a whimsical space but, it works for me. I used the same colors but much more intense in the laundry and bath room adjoining. check it out. It's not for everyone but it is for me... As a decorative artist most of my jobs are so serious I just need my space playful... I hope some of you enjoy it smile
