  • How the Interior Design student decorates her Dorm, As most dorm rooms are, mine is extremely small so I tried to separate it into 3 distinct areas: sleeping, studying, and dressing. I didn't want to overwhelm the space with color so I chose to stick to just a couple of colors (yellow and maroon). By adding a couple of lamps into the space, I warmed up the room and made it much homier. Making a dorm space homie as well as keeping your personal style evident is very important while transitioning from childhood to adulthood and in developing your style for the rest of your life., Dorm Rooms Design

  • Entry storage between the studs, We bought a foreclosed home and have had so much fun doing upgrades and “innovative” things to the space. The home is only 3 years old and is a total spec house so doing things like this is so much fun for me.This is the entry that needed extra room for coats and ect. I tore out the wall and added space for coats and a chalk board infront of the pipe. I still have to add the hooks and a mirror or something above…, Kitchens Design

  • Master Bath, Paradise lost! A master bath space poorly defined with an oversized closet in the room. The toilet area is small with a noisy ceiling fan and poor lighting. Next is a walk-in shower no door so water spills out. There is a large window the only natural light and a too large tub. Ceilings soffits make the room seem smaller. I would like a luxurious spa bath. more storage skylight and a redo on the closet. so we don't have to squeeze into the narrow hall way to use the toilet or the shower. , Bathrooms Design

  • Narrow Entryway, This is our front hallway/entryway that is incredibly narrow. Since it's the first thing you see when you walk in, we wanted to make it pretty and obviously, functional. We really started working on it during Apartment Therapy's January Cure, adding hooks, baskets, and decorating the cabinet. It works really well for us and it's nice walking in and seeing something pretty! You can see more details on my blog http://shoes-off-please.com, Other Spaces Design

  • Old Fashion Vestibule With Park Influence, We recreated our 100 year old building to retain neighborhood flavor. While contemporary on the inside, retaining the idea of a vestibule maintained the Baltimore Row House heritage, provided an energy efficient transition into our great room interior and creatively features an old world tiled feel with a bit of our neighborhood park influence., Other Spaces Design
