This is a vintage cowboy nursery. My son's name is even custom painted on the cowboy art . His father personally chose the antique iron horse that is in the corner.

Storage was key in this nursery. We bought the Pottery Barn Kids Penelope nursery bedding. And the furniture items are from Land of Nod IKEA Target and Craigslist. The crib is by Baby's Dream. Most of the decorative items I made myself to save money.

Now all we have to do is wait for April 14th! Thanks to my awesome husband who did all the painting and woodwork. Thanks to my mom who graciously made the bedding canopy curtains and window seat. The quilt on the chair was handmade by my sis Valerie. The big flowers in the play area came from hobby lobby. We painted the bed and the dress form came from pottery barn teen. The swirl fabric came from cutting corners in Dallas. We can't wait for Lilly Claire to get here!

Our prayers have been answered and our miracle babies are due in July! I have been working on the nursery for three months and it is 99% finished! As a final touch, I would like to add our girls' monograms over the changing table... but we haven't chosen their names yet! : I’m a real “girly girl”, so I wanted to create a sweet, feminine, and pretty space for my daughters. The colors I chose were a light pink, taupe and soft white. I wanted to use these colors because I felt they were soft… very calming and soothing. (perfect for rest and relaxation I found this toile fabric that has a picture of two angels on it, and I thought it was perfect since we were having two little girls. I also really liked the bows on the toile. So, angels and bows became the “theme” of the room. I sewed all of the bedding and curtains myself. I mixed old, vintage, bargain items along with some with new, “splurge” items. I really enjoyed working on this room and I hope you enjoy the photos! Thanks for looking! ***Update: We chose the names and I uploaded some pics of the monogram signs!

We wanted to do a sweet and simple nursery for our little boy. It is a small room, so we didn't have a lot of space to do much but I didn't want it to look cluttered. The silhouette tree is hand painted by my talented husband. We also covered the ceiling in bead board since we have popcorn ceilings (ugh. It is painted a pale blue but it's hard to tell in the photos.

Our little girl's nursery is a fun and colorful space with pale blue walls and pops of pink, green and orange. White furniture provides a neutral base and the crib bedding is a mix of patterns. We brought in vintage elements, like our own baby shoes, and lots of graphic typography.

I created this baby girl dream world on a very tight budget! Using scrapbook paper in frames for artwork a used dresser/changer that we changed the hardware on mix and match bedding and several other bargain buys to create this room. Proof that beautiful rooms can be done on a budget!

Classic pooh themed nursery for boy or girl. This is for our first baby who is due any day now. My husband did all the chair railing and crown molding. He also made the cornice board above the window. If we have a little girl I may add white sheers to soften up the space. Still need things on the wall but that will come after we know if it's a boy or girl.

Tessa Jean's room is a collection of vintage treasures picked up in thrift stores, beloved items from my own childhood, generous hand-me-downs, and even a couple of new things.
Tessa Jean is 10 months old now, but a year ago we had so much fun turning this tiny, oddly shaped room from our office into her nursery.
The iron bed in her room was mine when I was child and it was intended to be a place where I would nap while she naps. I don't think that's happened once. Instead, it's the place where we read bedtime stories and fold laundry.
On her chandelier, I've strung up more than a dozen of her rejected pacifiers. She was very particular about the ones she'd accept but the candy-colored binkies were too cute to toss out.
The swivel chair next to her crib is a thrift store find and the felt map of the United States was picked up at a yard sale before I was even pregnant. It's my favorite thing in her room.
Almost all of the books on her shelves were mine as a child.
The changing table was on sale at Pottery Barn Kids as a floor model. Score!
Her crib bedding, from DwellStudio, was probably my biggest splurge. I am obsessed with it.
Hope you guys enjoy the nursery!

We are just about finished with our son's nursery. We wanted to make a space he could grow into. My husband is a huge Dodger and OSU fan so I had to add a few touches to the room to make him happy. Just need to add some window panels to go over the sheers we have up. I would also would like to add some more baskets to the shelves. We added the wainscoting ourselves and took off the closet doors to make more space in the room.
