  • Urban Chic, I'm really natural and minimalistic I wanted to design my room so that it was warm and inviting but not cluttered.I chose brown and green because they are very soothing. Put pictures of my family on the wall and momento's from my travels. Above my bed are posters of the Beatles and Marilyn Monroe. I lofted my bed to save space.   • Cozy Beach Dorm, This dorm is a cozy beach-themed space. Fluorescent lights were replaced with warmer less harsh floor and desk lamps and the once-bare window has drapes that were easily installed using a tension rod. The room features bold shades of pink blue and green inspired by the striped bedding and throw rug. Subtle beach elements -- a lounge chair tropical floral blanket and pillow island posters -- make this dorm room the perfect haven for sleeping studying and of course watching HGTV. , Dorm Rooms Design

  • Sophomore Year Dorm, This was my single during the first term of my sophomore year of college. I hate how boring and "sterile" dorm rooms are and I was determined to make mine interesting/pleasing to the eye. This is what I came up with! (P.S.
