About This Space

My cousin Kelsy and I (Shauna are roommates for our sophomore year at Messiah College. So we created a room that coordinates our existing bedspreads. We wanted to make a place for ourselves that felt more like a home than a dorm. We were hoping for it to have a warm cozy feel but still incorporate color and some fun touches. :

I'm going to Messiah this fall and knew this room looked familiar (the fabric "cork board" walls, style beds, and shelves by the window. My future roomie and i both love what you did with the curtain on the bunk beds!

The colorful cork boards trimmed in ribbon look awesome--what a great idea! The paper lanterns add a lot too. You managed to give a dreary dorm room with unfortunate carpeting and mismatched bedding a warm, cohesive feeling.
