About This Space

The dorm room in these pictures is located in a dorm that was built in the 1930s. The size of the room is 12ft x 13ft about 169 square feet. It only had room for one of the desks the school provides. The challenge was creating an environment where the girls would each have a desk, storage room and some space to relax. With some very careful planning we were able to get it all in! I have included both before and after pictures to give you an idea. The comments from passersby at the beginning were wow you have a small room ... by the end they were wow your room is so big!! Funny how space planning can make such a difference!

The space looks so much bigger now! I can't believe the before and after photos. I definitely would spend more time in a dorm room if it looked like this!!! And I love all the small details. Great Job!
