This is my daughter and her roommates' first dorm room, Freshman, so wanted it to be a space for them that was both functional and "fun" to live in. Biggest challenges were of course space, as with most dorm rooms, and also color. They wanted to use pink and green which can be a bit "juvenile" looking so also added black and a few modern twists to make it more adult .
