Just when i think im finally bringing this dining room to a close and wrapping things up with the decor, something else gets thrown into the mix.......Ive decided to move out the decorative mantel and put in restaurant style seating. Please bear in mind i still have to paint the table, and move the mantel.....I just wanted to show the seating....Im having slipcovers made for the banquet, as this stripe just isnt my style. Im loving the benches though, they are from ballard designs, where they sell for 1500 to 2000 dollars, depending on the fabric u choose....I paid a fraction of that. I simply love the storage they provide....

It seems to be coming along just GREAT. You ask for window treatment suggestions. I think operationally your best bet, may be to go w/Roman Shades, as they can easily stop at the top of the back of the bench seat. I would go w/fabric ones either in the green or red from the fabric. If you can find fabric in the exact same colors as your seating it could even be a print. As you know it is o.k. to mix stripes w/another print, as long as the colors are the same. Otherwise, I'd go w/a solid color fabric. Hope this helps.
