I hate it--makes me nuts with too much going on and too frilly.

The colors are smashing, light and jazzy. The wallpaper is too distracting for a dining room - maybe a tiny powder room or a dark hallway would be a better use. The fireplace brick is also a miss. Too dark and hulky for the room. The otherwise light feel to the room is spot-on.

The curtain and the wallpaper distract the eye from all the other beautiful things in the room.
I do like the feel of the room.

A very charming and sophisticated room but...Just changing the wallpaper to a very pale blue as the background of the paper would do wonders.It is a very cozy room but the human eye is able to register a lot less that what is going on in there without tiring.Such a beautiful fireplace deserves better than brick around the opening and floor.Great idea but you got lost in the execution I think.

It is soooo close. However, in my humble opinion I think the wallpaper, window shades, painting, and Mckenzie Child tableware is too much. I keep looking at it trying to love it but it just doesn't work for me. It makes my head spin. I think bright, white matte lasse placemats would help tie it together. But really....different wallpaper would be the answer. Just one opinion. I know a lot of people love it and the most important thing is YOU love it. You're having your breakfast, lunch, and dinner in this room. Not me. So enjoy.

Very surprised you are promoting such a busy wallpaper; terrible; if I had to advise a homeowner about selling a house with THAT in it, would definately say "dates your house, won't appeal to masses, get rid of it". Not up to HGTV standards.
