We recently completed our DIY home remodel. In the dining room we removed all of the plaster and lathe and replaced the window, wiring, drywall, ceiling, lighting, flooring, and crown molding. The walls are Sherwin-Williams Latte to match the kitchen. The floors are the same laminate as in the kitchen and pantry. The rug matches the runner in the entryway and was purchased from Kohl's. I really struggled with what size to purchase. The table is counter height and can be pulled out into a square. The chandelier is brushed nickel to match the rest of our home and was purchased from Menards, the light over the kitchen sink is from the same line. We installed 4 pot lights in each of the corners, which made a huge difference. The drapes are shimmery and were purchased at Lowe's, the living room has the brown drapes from the same line. All of the drapery rods are from JCP Cindy Crawford. We don't eat in our dining room very often, though it is a pass through room with high traffic. I would love to come up with something to put on the table for interest but we just finished painting it this weekend and haven't had a chance to look for something else.
