It's free and easy.
Dining nook takes on a dramatic, modern look. Classic furniture pairs with the unexpected -- a large bank of vertically-placed, deep-framed distressed vintage mirrors over the buffet. This visually expands the space and reflects the light and gardens outside the bow window.
Sleek brushed nickle lamps feature oversize drum shades in lieu of skimpy buffet lamps. The shades can be swapped out with other colors/textures to update the look seasonally.
The oversize wrought iron chandelier departs from the traditional with it's loose, open feel and simple shape, but is large enough to add substance without being overbearing.
An indoor/outdoor rug with a simple diamond/harlequin pattern keeps the room feeling casual and fun, not stuffy and traditional. Plus it wears like iron and cleans up beautifully.
