  • Contemporary "Vintage Dutch room", This is my daughters room, she is18 months now. I am from The Netherlands and we live in Texas. We love modern design and we didnt want to use the traditional colors. We loved the idea of a room that can grow with Sofie. The used fabrics are all vintage Dutch fabrics. The room has contemporary furniture from DucDuc NYC. The 'tea-time-table' is from IKEA as well the doll bed. My husband sprayed the doll bed red to match the color theme of the room; red/white/blue and orange. We used as well vintage pink fabrics and vintage laces to make it more girly and less clean. The wall stickers "Amsterdam" are from, Nurseries Design

  • Frogs, Snails and Puppy Dogs' Tails...Bugs and Worms Too!, This is my son Owen's warm and inviting nursery. It's a clean space evoking the theme around bugs, snails, worms and all the little slimy creatures that little boys love. My mom did the murals without any patterns or stencils. There is also a touch of the moon and stars overlooking our little creatures of nature. The daybed (Ikea) opens to a king sized bed so we wouldn't have to give up our guest bedroom. The custom paint really excentuates the shape of the room and gave us an opportunity to display our color palatte nicely. So far, it's been functional as well as esthetically pleasing for Owen. He loves to stare at the bugs (the stripes are pleasing to newborns)!, Nurseries Design

  • Aspen's Colorful Contemporary Nursery, This is a room I designed for my daughter expected in October. I wanted to reuse both the black furniture and blue walls that were already in the room from when my son was a baby. I had a hard time finding bedding that was contemporary and matched both the blue and black, as well as the hot pink that I wanted to use for an accent wall. I ended up finding a quilt at TJ Max and had that custom made into baby bedding. That quilt ended up being the inspiration for all of the colors in he room. I also was able to recycle pieces of my son's Dwellbaby bedding. I hope everyone likes it. I love all the bright colors, and hope I didn't go overboard with them!, Nurseries Design

  • Ayana's Sweet and Modern Nursery, I am a lover of contemporary living. Ever since I thought of making our daughter's nursery I was looking for something that looks modern and contemporary. After my rigorous research I finally settled down to "Gray and Yellow" theme, Gray was to give the room that elegance and Yellow was to diffuse that freshness and incandescence for a girl's room. I loved how the combination was vivid as well as graceful.

However, I wanted to keep a balance between splurging for the nursery and 'thinking too much'. I think I was able to get to it finally!

I got my inspiration from all the beautiful projects that have been submitted already. I had previously done my son's room, and I also wanted Ayana's room to be as pretty as she herself is.

Room Details-
1.	Wall Colors- Behr (Twenty Carat, Cathedral Gray, and Manhattan Mist)
2.	Crib- Baby Mod
3.	Dresser- IKEA
4.	Changing Table- Pottery Barn
5.	Chair- American Furniture Warehouse

  • Savannah's Eclectic Nursery, This was a fun hot pink and gray nursery for our first baby. The ikat fabric from was a jumping off point. I wanted the space to be contemporary, girly and not too babyish all at the same time! • Peeper's Place, A sweet, neutral nursery created with lots and lots of love for our first baby, "Peeper". I love neutrals. I wanted a neutral, clean, crisp, contemporary but warm space all wrapped up into one big ball of awesome. My inspiration for this entire room was the knowledge that I wanted gray walls, and that precious raindrop mobile! I based all my colors from there, using the ones I loved most as pops of color throughout the rest of the room., Nurseries Design
