  • Contemporary "Vintage Dutch room", This is my daughters room, she is18 months now. I am from The Netherlands and we live in Texas. We love modern design and we didnt want to use the traditional colors. We loved the idea of a room that can grow with Sofie. The used fabrics are all vintage Dutch fabrics. The room has contemporary furniture from DucDuc NYC. The 'tea-time-table' is from IKEA as well the doll bed. My husband sprayed the doll bed red to match the color theme of the room; red/white/blue and orange. We used as well vintage pink fabrics and vintage laces to make it more girly and less clean. The wall stickers "Amsterdam" are from, Nurseries Design

  • Ayana's Sweet and Modern Nursery, I am a lover of contemporary living. Ever since I thought of making our daughter's nursery I was looking for something that looks modern and contemporary. After my rigorous research I finally settled down to "Gray and Yellow" theme, Gray was to give the room that elegance and Yellow was to diffuse that freshness and incandescence for a girl's room. I loved how the combination was vivid as well as graceful.

However, I wanted to keep a balance between splurging for the nursery and 'thinking too much'. I think I was able to get to it finally!

I got my inspiration from all the beautiful projects that have been submitted already. I had previously done my son's room, and I also wanted Ayana's room to be as pretty as she herself is.

Room Details-
1.	Wall Colors- Behr (Twenty Carat, Cathedral Gray, and Manhattan Mist)
2.	Crib- Baby Mod
3.	Dresser- IKEA
4.	Changing Table- Pottery Barn
5.	Chair- American Furniture Warehouse
6.	Curtain- Bed Bath and Beyond
7.	Poms- Ebay
8.	Wall Decals- Etsy
9.	Birdhouse Lamp- DIY project
10.	Small Birdhouse- DIY project
11.	Door name tag- DIY Project
12.	Wall name letters- I bought wooden letters off of Etsy and then painted and decorated them so it was partial DIY project.
13.	Wall shelf- IKEA
14.	Round Mirrors- Target
15.	Butterfly Mirror- Michaels
16.	Nursery Art- Gift from a friend
17.	Yellow Lamp- IKEA

  • Peeper's Place, A sweet, neutral nursery created with lots and lots of love for our first baby, "Peeper". I love neutrals. I wanted a neutral, clean, crisp, contemporary but warm space all wrapped up into one big ball of awesome. My inspiration for this entire room was the knowledge that I wanted gray walls, and that precious raindrop mobile! I based all my colors from there, using the ones I loved most as pops of color throughout the rest of the room., Nurseries Design

  • Design on a Dime , I wanted to make a cute space for my son without spending a lot of money. I saw the circles from other rate-my-spacers and thought how contemporary. I bought two sample paints of a darker blue and black and used a children school compass to draw the circles on the walls. Frames were $3 at Wal-Mart and the curtains for $12. The chair was bought of craigslist for $60 and will be reupholstered. , Nurseries Design

  • A Contemporary Neutral Girl's Nursery, I didn't want the typical pink nursery... so I went with dark browns, metallics and a splash of peach. The bird and twig mobile was the jumping off point. Everything I chose was based off of that and the bedding., Nurseries Design

  • Savannah's Eclectic Nursery, This was a fun hot pink and gray nursery for our first baby. The ikat fabric from was a jumping off point. I wanted the space to be contemporary, girly and not too babyish all at the same time! We were on a budget, so I re-used as many pieces I had around the house and shopped for deals online and around town., Nurseries Design

  • Twin Boy Nursery, This nursery needed a complete overhaul! We installed new hardwood floors wall paneling protective window treatments and a built-in bookcase. Of course there is a double glider for the twins and lots of fun artwork and decor. We wanted it to have a beachy yet fun feel. BlaBla dolls were the finishing touch! • Baby Boy Blue/White Squares Stripes Nursery, This nursery is just heaven for us and hopefully for the baby. I got the idea from a nursery I loved on here but we changed it up a bit and made the squares smaller. This is a very small space and it's a "circle room". We are going for simple just blue and white. We added a sheer curtain to separate it from our master bedroom since there was no door. The painting is of a baby dragon that my mother-in-law painted as a gift for us. , Nurseries Design

  • Geometric Spa Getaway!!!, It took two years for us to get pregnant but we started the nursery early. I picked the colors and bedding to be gender-neutral because we weren't even pregnant yet. When we got pregnant and found out it was a boy we added some "vintage" boy items to accent! My best friend and I did just about everything in here and I am very pleased with the results! I can't wait for Garrett to arrive and enjoy his room as much as his mommy does! :), Nurseries Design
