  • Functional Kitchen, I'm pretty happy with the kitchen but I could use some ideas for the top of the cabinets. This is my first house I've lived on my own in an apartment where everything was very small and there wasn't much room to decorate. I don't want to overdo anything. I really hate feeling cluttered!, Kitchens Design

  • Classic Computer Corner, This is my gameroom with built-in computer nook. It's a multi-purpose room where my 3 kids hangout and do homework. It also serves as my home office as a real estate agent. The workstation has deep legal size file drawers and lots of closed storage space. The open shelves go all the way to the ceiling and are a great place for books, awards and mementos. Thanks for Rating My Space!, Home Offices Design

  • Computer Nook Area, I had this 7ft table made specifically for this space from Cosmo's Woodshop on Etsy. It is actually a laminated table using a technique I saw on Color Splash from HGTV.
The chair was purchase on Ebay for $165 from furniturecreations.
The paintings were custom made for me using the colors that matched my home from a lady on ebay Art-of-texture. These paintings ranged from $100 to $175.
The lamps were a finding at HomeGoods for $50 a piece.
The garden stools were a find on Ebay 2 for $89.
This area is meant to be for computer / reading my magazine space. Where the TV would not distract me when i was surfing the net or looking thru my books, that is why I did not place it directly behind the sofa. , Living Rooms Design

  • Kitchen with eat in dining space, This is mine and my new husbands' ktichen in our first home together. The kitchen has a "grape" themed wallpaper chair railing. We don't have a seperate dining room but a dining "space" in the kitchen. We don't have enough space for all our kitchen utensils and pots and pans. That's we bought the "rack" you see hanging on the wall. I would like to buy a china cabinet to put adjacent to the table but I don't know really what style to buy. We're not too crazy about the wall paper but we are afraid to try to tear it down. , Kitchens Design

  • Breakfast nook, I didn't have much money but I was sick of my kitchen breakfast nook as it was (see the last picture). I already had a cool framed bullfight poster from when my folks went to Portugal in 1974. I painted the back wall red and found a small bistro table & chairs at Pier One and eventually put in a small pendant light. I think it came out OK. Let me know what you think!, Kitchens Design

  • My Computer Room with it's Storage Closet, These are pictures of my computer room! I guess one could say I'm kind of computer "geek" because I have three - yes that's three - computers. I use each one for a different reason. The closet in this room is also my "storage" closet for all those things like Christmas ornaments and excess computer gear (except when it's full like now and they end up in the middle of the floor!)., Other Spaces Design

  • Breakfast Nook - Dining Room Ready for the Christmas Holidays 2011, This is my favorite room to decorate. It's so small and cozy that a few little touches go a long way to define the style and create the mood. It's a simpler look than last year but much more practical. I have no fussy decorations to move when I want to serve a tasty breakfast or have a friend over for tea. Although a rug looks good, it's really not practical in this heavily used room and so it had to go. My theme this year is definitely PRETTY but PRACTICAL., Holidays Design
