  • Pretty as a Peacock, This is my guest bedroom decorated for Christmas. I usually like to stick with traditional for Christmas, but I got this idea and just had to do it in the room. I bought all of the pieces of greenery and feathers and created the swags and wreath myself. I bought the 7ft Christmas tree for only $30 at 5am on Black Friday. I thought the green/turquoise color scheme would really pop in my already apple green guest bedroom. , Bedrooms Design

  • Home for the Holidays!, Christmas is my favorite time of year to decorate. Each year I find a new theme or add to a theme I already had. Because my rooms are open to one another I wanted them to blend but have their own personality too. This is my home from last year. I am already planning for additional trees and have some ideas to improve on what I did. , Holidays Design

  • 2012 Christmas, It's all about glitter this year. I added glitter to the paper wreaths I made last year and made a glitter centerpiece for the foyer. Instead of a star this year I constructed a tree topper out of various types of glitter branches., Holidays Design

  • First ever home for the holidays!, This year was my first to decorate my home for Christmas! I couldn't decided if I wanted to use traditional decor or new, modern colors and decorations so I combined both ideas: traditional colors like red and white with some hints of pink and purple; faux and real trees in green, white and gold; stocking on the mantle with cheetah print fur! , Holidays Design

  • Georgia Holiday Sparkle, Brown and Green Christmas decor with lots of sparkle. I've picked up the lime green tones we have throughout our home in our Christmas decor. Since our Great Room has a lot of neutrals and browns, it's a perfect foil. This year we were remodeling our Master Bath, so I was without a specific for my holiday decor. I decided to just throw it all at the mantel- brown ,silver, gold and white and it worked! I always look for inspiration from new items I tuck away from the after holiday sales! I hate paying full price for anything!, Holidays Design

  • Help how to paint these two places/roundtable or not! , I need ideas I am stuck on these 2 areas. I have a 12"5 x11"5 diningroom with 2 windows and 9 or 10 foot ceilings! I am not sure what color to paint it. I was thinking red on top and put up some chair railing and brown or chocolate on the bottom. I am also considering a new table round maybe! I like the rustic country look with little clutter and clean lines. My problem is the living room is the next room over and is painted Maple Glaze behr paint then there is a entry front door, closet and the stairs. So if I paint the entry way one color and the diningroom another will it look like too many colors or should I paint the entry way same as the dinningroom?, Dining Rooms Design
