  • Antique Charm, Modern Function, Small Budget, Tiny 60's/70's bathroom expanded and restored to fit my 100-year-old home. 1890's antique walnut, marble-top dresser reclaimed and converted to a new life as a vanity! Most of the items were found on Craigslist and eBay. Since I like to be "green" where I can, I was also happy to reuse items rather than buy new. All of the work was done with the help of my friends and family (God bless 'em!)., Bathrooms Design

  • Carrera Marble and the range of my dreams., We have dark hardwood floors and high contrast along with classic style was very important to us. I wanted something that would eventually only require small changes to keep up to date. The one trendy thing I did was pick matte black fixtures to 'pop' in the space. We have the Jenn Air Pro line of appliances, got a fantastically useful pot filler, and did a combination of glass and traditional front doors. While the bookcase is very functional, we don't love the molding detail that was our 'only option' from the cabinet maker. Someday we will swap it out for a nice crown detail. , Kitchens Design

  • New Texas Farmhouse Kitchen, I designed our new house and my husband built it. I wanted our kitchen to feel timeless and up to date at the same time. The island and the pantry cabinets are constructed from antique long leaf pine. Believe it or not the beautiful Honey Onyx backsplash was a compromise. I couldn't afford what I wanted.
