I had so much fun decorating this for my sweet little girl. I made all the bedding and curtains myself. She is 3 now and its time to get a big girl bed and redecorate a bit. If you have any ideas let me know!

I loved my little girl's room so much that I kept everything the same added a twin bed in the room bought a bed set to match the old decor and kept it the same!!! Can you still get the fabric to match the room?? If so make a duvet for a new bed and add pillows! You're very talented!!!

I love this room.. it will look great with a big girl bed too. These fabrics are so warm. If you can't get anymore of the fabric to make a cover for her big bed you could do a simply white/cream blanket and then re/make her crib bumpers into long bolster pillows for the bed. I think a honey pine bed would look good like the crib.

I love the use of bold colors so many people go with pastels and the baby can't even see them until they are older! I'm sure your little one adores being in her room!

Thank You MumMum6! I have actually been looking for a bed that I can add upholstery to. All of the beds that I have found that are already upholstered are not that grand. I also have been looking at a white bed that has a victorian antique look. Its has corners that wrape around the sides of the headboard and footboard and wicker on both ends. If you get time check it out and tell me what you think. Its Lea smith furniture and then you go to Emma collection. I would love you imput!

GORGEOUS!!!Love your color scheme and fabric choices. You asked me what type of "big girl bed" I would suggest? As I LOVE the fabrics already in the room I would love to see an upholstered headdboard and coordinatig bed linens and maybe even a crown or half tester over the headboard. If that's not your cup of tea how about a wrought iron bed or four poster. Boy can I spend other people's money!!! Thanks for the compliment on my nursery Labor of Love but yours is AWESOME!!!
