  • Outdated, bare kitchen, This is a kitchen that looks as if it was redone in the late 1980's. It has some great features, but very little warmth, outdated cabinetry, sink, appliances, lighting fixtures, etc. The walls are an awful light blue, and half of the kitchen isn't being used for anything right now! The linoleum is stained, torn, and in desperate need of replacing..., Kitchens Design

  • J.S. White House Butler's Pantry, I didn't change too much in this butler's pantry other than removing red/white checkerboard wallpaper and painting the walls with Devine Paint "Green Tea" and adding a granite counter. The counter was previously cracked, white 4x4 tiles. The hardware on the left (drawers) is original and I matched reproduction hardware for the cabinet doors from House of Antique Hardware. The floor is handscraped Teak wood from Lumber Liquidators.

  • Butler's Pantry in Dining Room, Ok, so we don't all have a Butler, but why use wall space to hang a picture, when you can bust it out and install and entirely new Butler's Pantry for wine, storage, and display? We took some real estate from the garage wall, and used it to install this amazing new feature. , Dining Rooms Design

  • Farmhouse Kitchen, Before and after of the kitchen in my 1889 farmhouse. We tried to update the space while keeping a period appropriate farmhouse feeling. We mixed custom painted and distressed cabinets, heart pine floors, travertine countertops and backsplash, a farm sink and stainless steel appliances with oil rubbed bronze fixtures and hardware and lighting from Pottery Barn to create a cozy, light filled space., Kitchens Design

  • My Kitchen space, I haven't done anything to the kitchen but decorate it and add the backsplash. I've only lived in the house for little better than a year. I have some future plans such as adding pendant lighting over the island and and glass cabinet doors. Until then this is it., Kitchens Design

  • Late Victorian Butler's Pantry Kitchen, I completed my DIY kitchen about a year ago with the fabrication of the soapstone countertops. It was a 15 month project working evenings and weekends but it was sooooo worth it. The kitchen is in a 1900 addition to my 1850 house. The kitchen when I moved in was barely functional and it toolk many years to figure out how to fit all the appliances around the two windows and six doors in the room., Kitchens Design
