About This Space

The thrill of speed, the rush of competition and the love of man's machines can be found in this Speed Demon room, I designed around a teen. The client, a homebuilder, chose this theme to reflect their love of dirt bikes, cars and vintage memorabilia, in this show home. As a rather petite room, with merely space for a twin bed and shelving we had only one wall to make a great statement.

David - What is the LR/DR post? I would love to see the changes you made to the racing room. I have been looking for the artwork above the bed, not realizing it was a one-of -a-kind piece. Do you have anything similar to it that you sell? I love this room!

This room has given me alot of ideas for my 12 year old son's room. We are going with the rock n roll/music theme. I have seen the picture above the bed in the rock n roll theme...I love the shelves on the wall too, I will probably copy that idea! Love it!
