I wish I could think creative & outside the box like that....But I dont have to when I have people like you ;-) If I had a skateboard lover, I would so duplicate that!!!! I cannot believe it is not a perfect 5. Totally innovative, creative, and funtional. Love It!!!!!!!!!

All of the words are hand painted.I drew them first with a silver sharpie and then painted them.Lot of work and time.Graffii is lots of layers..I had fun doing it though.

The top of the windows and closet were made out of wood and then covered with metal.The floor is laminate,we found it at Ikea for under $3.00 a sq. good buy.

I think you could use the broken boards for a headboard,use could mount them on a piece of board or dry wall wrapped in a cool fabric or wallpaper....maybe something tiedye or graffii looking...simple and cheap!!!Maybe frame them around the door????What does the room look like now?

Ok, my kid would freak out for this room! Props to you mom! Question: What did you use for the window coverings and the tops of the windows and also for the closet door! Oh and whats on the floor carpet or tile? Great ideas you have....I'm so excited to show my kid!

Truly Inspired!! I have a question you since you are creative!...my son is a serious skateboarder and I've saved the dozens of boards that have broken in two over the past couple of years. The backs of them are colorful, if beat up. The way they crack in half is kind of artsy. I want to use them, or some of them, in his room but can't come up with a creative use or display method. Any ideas?
