This room is absolutely ridiculous!!!!!!!! I love it!!!!!!!! I wish I could think creative & outside the box like that....But I dont have to when I have people like you ;-) If I had a skateboard lover, I would so duplicate that!!!! That is just absolutely awesome....Both of your rooms are great!!!! Are you sure you've not Ty Pennington's sister!

All of the words are hand painted.I drew them first with a silver sharpie and then painted them.Lot of work and time.Graffii is lots of layers..I had fun doing it though.

The top of the windows and closet were made out of wood and then covered with metal.The floor is laminate,we found it at Ikea for under $3.00 a sq. good buy.

I think you could use the broken boards for a headboard,use could mount them on a piece of board or dry wall wrapped in a cool fabric or wallpaper....maybe something tiedye or graffii looking...simple and cheap!!!Maybe frame them around the door????What does the room look like now?
