I am in the process of trying to transform my 13 year old son's room to something similar. The futon was just too uncomfortable so we opted a sectional couch style. I love the black and red, go Ga. Bulldogs!

The below answer was a question about the ying-yang not cornice. My husband hand make valances and other interior accessories if you are interested.

The cornice was drawn free hand by measuring the same distance from each side and marking the middle. Then a pencil line was drawn like making a letter "S" paint cut in with an angled brush. What did you post your room under I did?
